Hey guys should Djimon Hounsou have won the oscar at the academy awards?

Obviously he was nominated for the amazing movie Blood Diamond along side Leonardo Dicaprio. I just still cant believe he did not win best supporting actor for that film. Am I the only one that feels that way? Because lets be honest how could the old guy who played the grandfather in the film little miss sunshine win best supporting actor when Djimon had such an amazing performance.
