When he stars ignoring you... What's next? What would you do?

So there is this guy who was kindda close to me back a few months ago. Not really close at all in public, like at school, but we had a thing for each other... We'd text every day and we flirted a bit... But I'm miss popular and he really got stressed out when people put him under the microscope just because we had a thing for each other, and he basically started to ignore me and stopped replying my text messages.. I'm really bummed out about this, and I still really like him and I miss him a lot... What should I do? Please help.. Thanks in advance...
